A short, honest explanation of how our content relates to your exam board's official syllabus — and where the line is.

How we build content

We write every course pack, practice question and review card in-house, by working directly from each board's publicly published syllabus documents — the topic lists, command terms and assessment objectives they release. We don't copy from, or republish, any board's copyrighted materials.

What “aligned” means here

It means the topics, terminology and skills in a Scholaridge course pack match what's specified in the official syllabus for that subject and level. The explanations, examples and practice questions themselves are original — written by us, not sourced from an exam board.

What we're not

• We are not an official publication of the IB, Cambridge International, AQA, Edexcel, OCR, or the College Board.
• We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any examination board or awarding organization.
• Our practice questions (see Ridge Papers) are original material modeled on official exam style — they are not official past papers.

Keeping it current

Exam boards update their syllabus specifications from time to time. When that happens, we review the affected course packs and update them to match — this is an ongoing process our team owns, not an automated system, so there can be a gap between a syllabus change and our content catching up.

Use it alongside your teacher

Scholaridge is a study companion, not a replacement for your school's own guidance. Always check your school and official board resources for anything assessment-critical, especially close to exams.
